Why I use Dokuwiki

Some of you may ask why I have chosen DokuWiki as the main platform for the design of my personal website.

In fact, I have previously experimented with a variety of website design platforms, including Weebly, WordPress, Jekyll, as well as more traditional “old-school” HTML and CSS. After careful consideration, I decided to adopt DokuWiki as the primary platform for this website.

DokuWiki is a wiki-based platform designed for creating documentation, knowledge bases, and collaborative websites. It is particularly valued for its simplicity, clarity, and the fact that it does not require a database, making it both lightweight and reliable for long-term use.

As for my personal blog, https://cyrillusmariae.com, which is built using WordPress, I will continue to maintain it as the main platform for my personal blog and longer reflective writings.
